A blog of striking words (mostly printed ones, and in English) ending in the letter y. Why? Why not?

But not furry.
Appropos of nothing, and only because they're near the keyboard, one might consider phlox and flocks, which have little, if anything, to do with words ending in y (although they have something to do with firry and furry).
I like word play and etymology and noticing how words go in and out of vogue. In 2005 an English friend describing a particular beach used the word "surfy." I liked the way it sounded; the idea for this blog germinated. Given an interest I have in constrained writing, it makes sense.
